The Incserv Story
In the 1960s, just a stone’s throw from Legislative Hall and the Division of Corporations in Dover, Delaware, the law firm of Twilley, Jones, Feliceangeli & Braverman formed corporations as a side gig from their law firm. This side gig grew, and in 1972, the firm decided to spin off the incorporating business, and Incorporating Services, Ltd. (Incserv) was born. Setting up shop in the basement of the firm’s office, a small staff began supporting client corporate service needs, registered agent appointments, and compliance requirements.
By 1986, fueled by strong word-of-mouth growth, Incserv outgrew the humble basement and opened its first office across the street from the Division of Corporations. (This office happened to be the carriage house of George Jones’ childhood home!) Mr. Jones was appointed manager and Joshua M. Twilley became Chairman of the Board.
In the 1990s, recognizing a need for a one-stop shop for legal professionals, the nationwide division was created to provide corporate services in all 50 states, as well as a Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) division to provide UCC filing and search services.
In the 2000s, Incserv solidified its position as a nationwide provider by qualifying and acting as agent in all 50 states and began opening offices in jurisdictions outside of Delaware. With services provided to a growing list of hundreds of thousands of entities, Incserv firmly established itself as a go-to provider for nationwide corporate, registered agent, compliance and UCC service where the client always comes first.
